What really attracts women? We’ve discovered a cure for Polio, invented the TV, and even landed a man on the moon yet no one has truly figured out what women want! Until just recently that statement was very true, in fact very few people would argue it. But now the secret to female attraction is revealed. Attraction is based on two characteristics, survival and replication. Our emotional circuitry is designed to aid us in survival and replication. Women are primarily attracted to survival traits whereas men are primarily attracted to replication traits.
Trait 1 – Dominance
Women are extremely attracted to dominant, and aggressive men. Not your average joe who is super nice and holds her purse everywhere she goes. She is, however, attracted to the kind of man who knows what he wants and will go for it. That’s why women are so attracted to men like Donald Trump, CEO’s and wealthy men.
Trait 2 – Alpha Male
There’s an old saying that goes “lead the men and the women will follow.” Women are always attracted to the leader of the group. If you’re not the guy who is calling the shots and makng the decisions for your group of friends then you need to. Alpha males don’t allow other people to tool them so don’t let people run over you. Even if you don’t mind playing beta, she will notice and lose attraction for you.
Trait 3 – Humor
If you can make her laugh you have won half the battle already! It’s important to understand that by making her laugh there is a good way and a bad way. The good way to make her laugh is by having a slightly cocky sense of humor. Being very self assured / borderline cocky you are communication that you are a high status person and you are NOT NEEDY. If you act like a goofy weirdo who is just trying to get a cheap laugh stop doing it! That is not what attracts women.
Trait 4 – Protector
Have you ever wondered why women are drawn to men that protect them? It goes directly back to the main trigger of female attraction which is that of survival. In tribal times women had a difficult time surviving on their own so having a man around presented a survival advantage. Even though women can “survive” in today’s world just fine without a man, our attraction circuitry has not evolved as quickly as society has. There are several good ways to display that you are a protector, you can tell stories about how you took care of your sister when she was sick or how you helped raise money for the impoverished. Don’t brag about yourself though, that’s not attractive. Just subtly work those stories into your conversation with her.
Trait 5 – Good Health
Women are attracted to men with good health (muscles, fit) but this type of attraction is on a smaller scale than that of the other traits. One of the advantages of being in shape is that women are much more likely to talk to you and let you approach. While you can easily attract women without having a good body, in my experience, the better shape your in, the easier it is to get that first 30 seconds of conversation going.
