Pick Up Lines That Get Her Talking
by Joseph Matthews
Some pick up lines are just terrible.
When have you heard some of the cheesiest of pick up lines like the following…
“Are you a parking ticket? Because you’re a little fine!”
“Do I know you from somewhere?”
“Your daddy must have been a thief, because he stole the stars and put them in your eyes.”
Let’s face it – if you use lines like these on a girl, she’s not going to give you the time of day.
Consequently, bad pick up lines get too much attention, therefore everyone thinks all pick up lines are lame.
And this just isn’t true.
A good pick up line will actually do what it says – help you pick up a girl!
Understand: The whole point of using a pick up line is to get a conversation started.
It is as simple as that, merely to engage a woman in conversation.
You can work your magic to do what you need to get a date with her, a phone number and an emotional connection, once she begins talking to you.
If you cannot begin a conversation, you can do little else.
You want something more that just talking to a woman; you want to engage her in a good conversation. Drawing her into your conversation is the only means of continuing your relationship journey.
And guess what? A good pick up line will do that!
It is natural to be nervous when going out to meet women, being unsure what to say; however, most often you miss your chance to meet a good woman, simply because it takes to long to think up something to say.
This is why you should know a couple of good working pick up lines. Situations like these may hinder you from being original and you need something to help you get the ball rolling.
Keep in mind that women are wise; never use these types of pick up lines, since they get you nowhere at all.
“Don’t I know you from somewhere?”
This is a lame pick up line, and all women know it, you might think yourself clever, but they will not.
Other bad pick up lines include, asking for directions, complimenting her on her clothing and telling her she looks like some big celebrity.
Why?
Because these things do not ENGAGE the girl. Once she responds, there is nothing to keep her in the conversation.
Bad pick up lines have yes and no answers. Good pick up lines get a woman to thinking about her response, while encouraging an emotional reaction from her, this causes her to want to continue talking with you.
So how do you engage a girl?
Easy, ask her opinion about some issue, since each woman has her own opinion, she likes to share with other, especially when it concerns relationships.
Good pick up lines work like this, for example. Say something to the woman, like this, Hi, I need you opinion on something, do you think it is normal for a woman to try to time a pregnancy so that her baby is born within a particular zodiac sign? I would really like to hear the opinion of a woman about this subject.
Once you engage her in the conversation you may follow up with a tale of some woman who wants to be sure she and her children are astrologically compatible, to make life a bit more enjoyable as life moves along.
This leads to all kinds of different conversation topics, things like:
1. Children
2. Children
3. Astrology
4. Pregnancy
5. Relationships
The number of ways you can go with this are endless. Some of my favorite follow ups are:
“Do you believe in astrology?” (this can lead into discussions of fate and destiny)
“What is your sign?” (No matter what she says – be sure to mention your sign is compatible with hers!)
“What do you think of children? You seem like the mothering type.”
I could go on and on, but you get the idea.
The design of a good pick up line engages a woman into deep and interesting conversations that provide you with an opportunity to get to know one another as you become familiar with each other.
This is how conversations are started!
At this point, it’s the easiest thing in the world to get a phone number from a girl, and possibly even set up a first date.
