Well, the biggest problem is the fact that most guys are afraid….

They’re scared that they might get rejected or that she will walk off and everyone would just stand there and laugh in their face.

When you’ve projected a FRIENDLY, sociable and FUN vibe the moment she sees you, often times she’d want YOU to talk to her and find out what you’re all about.

No kidding.

And I’m quite sure that even if you DID look like Bradd Pitt or Clooney, Cruise or whatever, as ‘interested’ as she is in you at that spur of the moment, she WON’T make the first move to talk to you.

Bottom line: Women STILL expect guys to do the work.

Even at this day and age.

The other thing I’ve learned is this…

At the very RARE instance she did turn ‘cold’ on me and refused to speak to me, it’s usually more a problem about HER and NOT me.

It’s either she’s not a friendly person, having a bad day, in a hurry or she’s just plain ‘taken’.

I’ve also seen guys who like to ‘hide’ their true intentions upfront when they first approach a woman.

They’ll want to be able to pick her up ‘without’ making it look like they’re picking her up…

I mean who are we kidding here?

Deep down, women in general will AUTOMATICALLY assume that you’re on to something the moment you first approached her, no matter what you say or do.

If not interested, why did you care to talk to her at all?!!

And that’s why it’s absolutely CRUCIAL for you to be DIRECT about it at the very beginning, whilst tactfully ENGAGING her into a conversation with you…

Not too sure about you, but it’s happened to me like a GAZILLION times.

Well, if you’re a ‘clubbie’ like me, you’ll find that women seldom frequent clubs solo. Usually they’re in the company of friends or more specifically there’s usually a guy in tow!

What’s one to do then?

Should you be discouraged by it?

Do you just ‘give up’?

Hell, no!

Here are a few pointers to approach women who frequent clubs or any public setting for that matter with a guy/s.

But before we go any further, I’d like to clarify a couple of things.

While it’s perfectly NORMAL to approach a girl who is in the company of a guy, I do not advocate trying to pick up a girl who is already with a ‘steady’ partner.

Trying to do that is no different than stirring up a hornet’s nest!

No guy likes another guy messing around with their ‘girl’.

If you do that, then well… it’s safe to say that the result is very likely going to be kinda ‘unpleasant’.

Do it wrongly, going overboard with it, and there’s a slight chance you might get into a fight and end up getting hurt. So if that hot chick is lovey dovey with her guy, I suggest you look else where and remove her from your list of potential targets.

It’s easy to spot couples even when they’re in a group. Their body language will tell you if they’re a couple.

Tell tale signs: they usually sit closer together, lots of interaction between them, touching, holding hands, kissing and lots of gazing into each others’ eyes.

On the other hand, if the girl is with a guy who is a casual friend, they usually sit further apart.

Once you have ascertained that the guy is just a friend’, initiate eye contact and watch her reaction.

Observe her body language. If she smiles back and occasionally steal glances your way, that’s a sign of interest.

If this is the case, you’ll have two ways you to approach her. One way is to wait till she is alone.

Do it when the guy is away to the gents or intercept her when she is on her way back from the ladies.

Reminder: The line you use as your opener does NOT matter.

You: Hey, Winnie what’s up?
Her: Do I know you?
You: Come on Winnie, it’s ME. Quit playin.
Her: I’m sorry but I think you’ve got the wrong person.
You: I know. Just messin withcha *smile* By the way, I’m John and you are?

What matters is how you catch her attention, ENGAGE her and how you make her laugh.

Laughing will LOWER her guard down, make her COMFORTABLE around you and this naturally makes her more receptive within your interactions.

If you approach her when she is at her table, it is more conducive for 1-1 interaction. When both of you are seated, it is naturally easier to focus on INVOLVING her in your interaction when she is standing or walking back to her table.

Your objective is to keep her interested and have HER part with her digits so that you can arrange to meet up at a later date.

To make the most impact, keep the first encounter short and memorable so that she’d look forward to seeing you again.

The second way of approaching a girl who is in the company of others is with the help of a ‘wing’. This strategy requires you to work in pairs.

A wing can be any one of your friends. His/her job is to distract your targets partner so that you can zoom in on your target.

A word of caution when you have a wingman; both of you should have a common understanding and should technically not be interested in the same girl.

I remember I was at this smokin’ place called Jungle last Saturday, and I spotted 2 fine-lookin chicks standing there on the balcony looking over the house band and the dance floor, they were standing there enjoying the music, with their glasses of wine, etc.

Me : “Didya know I’m gay?”
Target 2: “Oh really? Why the sudden confession?”
Me : “So that we can be the bestest of friends, hang out
all the time and I can see you naked.
Target 2: (laughs) “OMG, you’re such a pervert!”
Me : “Yeah I know! Sick isn’t it?”

As you can see, one can NEVER take it too seriously when approaching. If you do, it WON’T come out right.

Too often, guys make the mistake of putting too much of pressure on themselves as they’re out there meeting women.

They always want to say the ‘right’ things, do the right things, come out with the best ‘lines’. That’s the just the WRONG way to look at it.

Many things can happen as you’re out there doing cold approaches on women and surely, you’ll bound to come across women who will outright IGNORE you and blow you off.

Just like how I approached Brenda at the beginning, she did the same thing to me. But within that CRUCIAL split second, you’ve got to be FAST enough to pick up and keep going. It’s critical HOW you take control of the situation when it happens cos one mistake, and that’s it.

The entire dynamics changes.

Don’t second guess yourself. And just do whatever that comes to your mind.

One of the FASTEST way to meet beautiful women is to do cold approaches. And NO, it WON’T look wierd to women, it’s not as hard or as ‘scary’ as most guys seem to think it is.

You see a ‘hot’ one, you don’t waste time and you go for it. But I must warn you, it can get REALLY addictive… approaching women.

But deep down, I strongly believe it’s one of the most POWERFUL skills you can have as a man. See, when you’ve got this ‘approaching’ thing “down”, I can boldly say that your life WILL change. It’ll be one big roller-coaster ride. Guys will ADORE you and treat you like God. Girls would just sit up, take notice and be ‘secretly’ wishing you’d do it to them (whether they’d like to admit or not).

Whenever a guy is with an attractive woman, he would naturally
want to attract her attention. Nothing new, right?

Not only will he want to get her attention but he will want to impress her.

He might be thinking that he wants to be different from the
other guys. And what will he do? Well, even though his mindset
is right, I would say that most likely, without him realizing
it, he won’t he will do the obvious.

He will be NERVOUS as hell, acting very fidgety and moving very fastly.

Notice that some guys will even have their own little ‘interview’
thing going on in their head.

They’ll have sort of like these pre-set questions that they’ll
be ever so ready to pound the girl with; lame questions ie.
“how old are you,” “where are you from”, “what do you like
doing in your free time,” “how’s is your mom doing,”
“how’s your dad doing?”…

Know what I’m talking about?

They’ll just keep asking these questions non-stop thinking
that this will actually keep the conversation going but
honestly, don’t you think an attractive woman gets asked the
same ‘ol questions all the time?

Same goes with the age old concept of being the nice guy
who’s there for her all the time, who does all the sweet
things for her, buying her gifts and doing all those stuff
that your parents normally teaches their kids on dating.

Now, don’t you think that 90% of guys do the exact same
thing all the time?

Whenever you do this she smells out the neediness and insecurity, why do i say needy and insecure?

‘Needy’ because it gives her the impression that you need

It also projects a sign of weakness in your part. That

Trust me, doing so will seem way too ‘normal’ for them.

You have to show it to her that you don’t need to impress
her.

Forget whether it’s with a boy or a girl for the moment.

Just make ‘talking to people’ second nature for you.

If your shy around women then a good place to start is by talking to guys.

Think of it as a practice round.

you’ll be better off with the girls?

really is a FACT. More often than not, the worst things that
you would normally think off, will most likely NOT happen at
all!

It’s just your mind playing silly ‘ol tricks on ya, that’s
it.

Now, worst case scenario is even if you DID fall flat on your
face, at least you did something DIFFERENT, unlike the 99
other losers that said the same lame, over-accommodating lines
that she’s so accustomed to all along.

You see, if you really want to be great with women, you must
be a super ‘ALPHA’ bloke — a guy who’s NOT afraid to speak
his mind AND do the right thing in any given situation
and be the leader of the pack.

Not be all wimpy and accommodating and stuff…

Get it?

Think about it — then go out and DO it.

First, you have to realize that beautiful women get hit on… a LOT.

Now at first it may all seem happy and nice with them receiving
all the attention from the guys, and sure they can be all cutesy
and polite to them whenever they’re being approached but
after a while, it all tends to get rather irritating and
annoying – merely because they’re hearing the same ol’ lines,
howlings and perv stares over and over again.

Exact words from a woman’s mouth – not mine.

So what they do about it?

Well in order for them to ‘save time’, they would then be
‘forced’ to be more ‘to the point’ or as we like to call it
‘bitchy’ to the guys that approach them.

Why must they be so mean?

Simply because they HAVE to.

You see, if they weren’t mean enough, guys who are usually
thick-skinned will not get the point and they’ll keep on
pursuing UNTIL she says a firm no.

Makes sense?

How do I know this? Well, to be honest with you, it was merely
by chance. I didn’t get any of it at first until I started to
really mix with women.

Sometimes, it’s really good to have close girl friends because
you might learn a LOT from them. I now begin to see it all from
THEIR perspective now…

How to approach a woman?

Now, I’ve noticed that most guys (the majority of them actually),
whenever they approach a woman, they always start off by saying
something like ‘Hi there, you’re gorgeous, oh by the way, my
name’s John, what’s yours? I’d like to get to know you, bla bla
bla…”

Heard of such a line before?

Or probably something along these lines?

Now, think about it. If you’re a girl and you get asked the
same question about 5-10 times a day, do you think that there’s
a high chance that you’ll get immune to it?

Of course you would!

And I’m not guessing here because I had a girl friend who once
told me the same thing that I’m telling you now!

It’s just too ‘typical’ for them to receive such lame,
everyday ‘pick up’ lines.

Best thing is, do you know instead what they would rather hear?

Try this:

Go up to her, and just give her a funny compliment on something
she LEAST expects to get a compliment on (NEVER compliment her
looks, she’s immune to that, remember?), you can compliment on
her funky hairstyle, her heels, her big ears — anything.

Just as long as its something she LEAST expects to hear from
a guy.

Using humour is always good in picking up women. Humor added
with a bit of spunk, along with a spot-on sarcastic tone and
body language will definitely seal the deal for you — and
get her interested.

Surely.

Think about it.
